Lag Ja Gale | Sourendro-Soumyojit | Hariharan | Rekha Bhardwaj | Papon | World Music Day 2025

“Lag Ja Gale” is one such timeless emotion—whispered, remembered, carried quietly through generations. On the 15th year of Sourendro- Soumyojit’s World Music Day, the song returned to us in a new form: not as a solo, but as an anthem—an ode to Love—many voices, one feeling. Recorded at the concert, this version brings together singers from different worlds, languages, and journeys, united by the same fragile ache and warmth that Lag Ja Gale has always held. Every voice carries a memory, every harmony feels like an embrace—familiar, yet new. This is not a reinterpretation meant to replace the classic, but a collective bow to it. A reminder that some melodies grow stronger when shared. We hope when you listen, it feels personal—like a song you once held close, now holding you back. Because music, at its best, doesn’t just sound beautiful—it belongs.
